In reply to your letter dated 23rd January,

1929, the Roads Engineer, to whom the matter was referred,

reports that the results of experiments with Colfix,

carried out last year over a fairly large area, were

not satisfactory.

No useful purpose would therefore

be attained by accepting your offer of five barrels of

Colfix for further experimental work.
